| one-of-a-kind custom designs for weddings, dress-up, and fun by Laurie Tavan, needle ninja |

This project began as a rough sketch provided by the bride's sister, which, with the bride's input, we expanded and refined into the wedding dress of her dreams.

application: Bridal Wear
This wedding gown is a full-hooped ball gown with split petals and a removable, cathedral-length train. The waist is decorated with handmade Belgian lace trim. A fully-steel-boned corsetlet built in to the top of the gown provides structure, and custom details include matching electric-blue spiral lacing and the removable halter strap. This gown also bustles in a unique way to preserve the ball gown silhouette, as requested by the bride.
